I didn't love the movie either, it was more an MTV video clip than a movie for me. The Persian warriors were not disgusting in 300, they were just depicted as bad guys by the hollywood machine and it is not the first or the last time that hollywood portrays a people incorrectly. Believe me, it wasn't aimed at you personally or the Persian people, it was aimed at making more money; that is always the prime objective in the movie industry. I'm sorry our characters disgust you but I have a feeling you're easily disgusted. These characters are very dear and respectful to me and the artists who worked on them. Just to let you know, I'm bald and extremely funny and I've had tons of feedback on our characters. Everyone loves them! I personally watched 300 once and I didn’t hate it. As Iranians we are very proud of our heritage and our goal was to create characters that were fun, unique and based on our own vision, and based on the feedback we have received, most of our visitors liked them.
