About Vishka Studio
We are an independent production company created in 2003 by founder Reza Ghobady in Iran. Our mission is to create compelling and engaging media content for the entertainment industry including broadcast, mobile, games and film sections.
Our production is focused on films and creating visual effects in a variety of contemporary styles including 2D, 3D computer animation, mixed media and live-action, with a focus on character design, creation, animation and licensing.
Our vision is conveyed by a team of talented and inspired artists who express their art using the latest technology and a production proven work process. This team is backed by an experienced management team competent in the fields of CG production, automation and process re-engineering, marketing and creative commercialization.
Our approach is to offer highly customized professional and cinematographic services to the film, television and advertising industries. Q. What is it that you do?
Using a team of creative talent and a robust production process, we use specialized software to translate a story into a 3D animated end product. This end product could be a TV series, an advertisement, a short or feature movie or even a game; the possibilities are endless.
Q. What do you need from me so you can give me a bid on my project?
Describe the project as best as you can. Our quote would be directly proportional to the information provided at the time of detailing. Consider the following when asking for a quote or bid on our services:
Send a rough or finished script/story synopsis. If you don't have one you can verbally explain some of your ideas.
Concept art, storyboards, illustrations, or a collage of pictures is helpful. References can also be something on our reel that caught your eye, images or pictures that relate to your idea that you found on the internet, or any other support material you can provide that will help us understand what your vision is.
The style approach of your project plays a large role in the cost. For example, a realistic approach compared to a cartoon or stylized approach impacts the price considerably. Generally a realistic approach is more time consuming to create and produce which therefore makes it more expensive.
How many characters? Are any of the characters speaking? What are they? (i.e. children, animals, etc.)
How many environments you want to be covered in the animation? Describe them (i.e. a classroom, city street, simple colored background, etc.)
What is the duration of the animation approximately? (hours, minutes or seconds)
What does the final output resolution need to be? What is the media the animation is being developed for? Is it for TV or the Internet?
One of our best talents is in designing projects for high impact that allows you to get the most out of your budget. Some people think that disclosing their budget puts them at a disadvantage. The reality is that knowing your budget ahead of time is key to designing your project for maximum impact and helps eliminate costly fluff that are usually for showcase value and not necessarily help tell your story. We work with you to get the most bang for your buck.
Q. How are you able to provide such quality animation at affordable rates?
Quality 3D animation does not have to come with a huge price tag, it always is the creativity that makes the difference. With today's technological advances, high-speed Internet, and a well executed production plan, 3D animation is much more affordable. Furthermore, we run our studio very efficiently and that optimizes our overhead cost. Our efficiency and low overhead costs allow us the luxury of offering affordable services to our clients.
Q. What are your animation rates and how will you determine the cost of my project?
In order to finalize a quote on your animation project, we need to discuss certain details about the project. We do not charge for the initial discussion about your project or to provide a proposal. You are under no obligation to hire us for that project after a consult or once a proposal is made. It is important to mention that every animation project is unique which truly makes it difficult to provide fixed prices. You will find that we have a very straight forward approach and will go out of our way to help you find a quality solution, just right for you.
Q. Can Vishka Studio handle large-scale projects?
We are structured to have the flexibility to scale projects, up or down. If for any reason a project is presented to us that require more bandwidth than we can comfortably handle, we will come up with an alternative solution for you. We will also go as far as recommending other studios if we feel that your project is beyond our means as we have your best interest at heart and want your project to be a success.
Q. My project is confidential, will it be secure?
We understand & respect the importance of Non Disclosure Agreements. That is the reason we sign an ND & NC agreements with our clients & we use them ourselves. In fact, a lot of our recent work cannot be shown because we respect our NDA's signed with our past clients. We have worked with some high profile clients, so naturally NDA's are an important part of everyday business.
